Conicelli Toyota now has available the all-new 2009 Toyota Venza in the dealership's Conshohocken showroom. [Check inventory.]

The 2009 Toyota Venza is a versatile five-passenger vehicle that blends passenger-car styling and comfort with the flexibility of a sport utility vehicle (SUV). Introduced as a V6 version, the Toyota Venza is now also available with a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine. Performance meets economy in the 182-hp engine that gets 21/29 mpg1 city/highway while producing fewer emissions.

Bob Carter, Toyota Division group vice president and general manager, describes the Venza: "It caters to buyers who are looking for the value and reliability of a Camry, the comfort and upscale refinement of an Avalon, and the utility and flexibility of a Highlander in one very stylish and sporty package." The 2009 Toyota Venza is expected to appeal to buyers looking for style, ease of handling, and utility. Venza's bold and expressive styling includes a luxurious and refined interior combined with on-road performance, available all-wheel drive (AWD), fold-down rear seats, roomy cargo area, higher driver sightline, outstanding fuel economy, and up to 3,500 lbs. towing capacity. (A video demo is available online at http://www.toyota.com/venza/demos.html.)

Lower rocker panels and narrower doorsills give great ease of entry and exit, yet the sightline is higher than Toyota Camry. The rear load-in height is lower than Camry and almost as low as the Sienna van. In addition to a generous list of standard equipment, the Toyota Venza offers many new comfort and utility features typically found on luxury vehicles. Some of the features include: high intensity discharge headlamps with an automatic high beam feature that detects oncoming vehicles and automatically switches the headlamps from high- to low-beam; chrome-accented door handles on the front side doors that lock and unlock all four doors and rear hatch door; panoramic roof with power tilt/slide function and a separate fixed glass panel over the rear seats; and auto up/down power windows with jam protection on all four doors.

Venza offers Toyota's Star Safety as standard equipment for all models.

All aspects of Venza's engineering and design were targeted specifically for the North American market, where it is sold exclusively. Venza was primarily engineered at Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. The design was the creation of Toyota's Calty Design studios in Newport Beach, Calif. and Ann Arbor, Mich. Venza is assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK), in Georgetown, Ky., home of the Camry, Solara and Avalon. More than seventy percent of its components come from North American suppliers.

Available exterior colors include: Aloe Green Metallic, Tropical Sea Metallic, Barcelona Red Metallic, Sunset Bronze Mica, Golden Umber Mica, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, Blizzard Pearl and Black. Available interior colors, both in either leather or fabric, are ivory and light gray.
