Students from the Colonial School District (CSD) dominated the Pennsylvania Technology Student Association (TSA) competition from April 15-18 at the Seven Springs Resort in Champion, Pa. Colonial TSA successfully qualified 41 students for the TSA National Conference and earned 15 trophies, including six first place awards. The six first place finishes doubled Colonialās previous best showing at the state event.
Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWHS) students won the most trophies of any chapter in the entire state, placing first in six events, second in one and third in five.
The Colonial TSA members were guided in their quest by advisors Clint Rickert, Diana Rickert, Joe Narke, and Richard Evan.
The TSA National Conference is scheduled for June 28 to July 2 in Grapevine, Texas. During this annual conference over 65 middle school and high school technology-based student competitions will be held.
The Conicelli family and the Conicelli dealerships wish these hard-working scholars the best of luck as they move forward in their quest for national recognition to go with their state accomplishments. We are proud to have been able to contribute to this organization and see it go so far!
