We were reminded recently, following the tragic news of the death of basketball great Kobe Bryant and 8 others, of a small but meaningful connection to Conicelli Autoplex. Ken Knickerbocker writes on Montco Today:

This is the 12th year that Conicelli has joined the Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation for “Driving Away the Cold.” We want to make sure every child in the five-county region stays warm throughout fall and winter. During the month of September, Conicelli will donate one coat for every car sold and all coats will be distributed to local children in need in October. The Conicelli dealerships have donated more than 13,800 coats in the past 11 years, and we couldn’t have done it without our customers. Thanks for helping us drive away the cold!

Join your friends and neighbors on Friday, March 31, 2019 for Designer Bag Bingo at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, at 7:00 p.m. in the school gym at 601 Buttonwood Street in Norristown.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with Bingo starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $30 in advance or $35 at the door for 10 regular games.

On Saturday August 27, 2019, the Rotary Club of Norristown will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction from 8 a.m. to Noon.

This year, the major portion of the proceeds will go to Laurel House, a comprehensive domestic violence agency providing supportive and preventive services to individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County.

Help Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center support needy clients by bringing non-perishable food and infant needs to any Conicelli showroom during April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center is a charity serving the area’s victims of child abuse. They provide a center for the team investigation of child abuse cases, reducing the number of interviews the child must undergo.

TODAY is a Good Day is a local non-profit organization that provides personal and financial support to families navigating the journey through a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) with their child.

Join Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties (Habitat MontDelco) for their 30th Anniversary Gala to raise money for local families to live in safe, affordable homes.

The Gala will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Radnor Hotel from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Special guests will include Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Back Malcolm Jenkins and NBC10 Philadelphia’s Rosemary Connors.
